Will Evans
Executive Director and Co-Founder
Will, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, relocated to California in 2009. He holds a BS in urban policy studies and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Georgia State University, with a focus on economic development planning and geographic information science (GIS). Will has nearly a decade of experience in various resource management roles with the County of Lake, including Deputy Director of Water Resources, Associate Resource Planner in the Community Development Department, and Compliance Coordinator for Special Districts Administration.
Throughout his career, Will has been involved in diverse projects spanning areas such as drinking water, wastewater, flood control, post-fire debris flow mitigation, stormwater management, geothermal resource management, geographic information systems, trail development, surface mining reclamation, municipal planning, grant writing, and downtown redevelopment. He is also one of the founding members of CLERC and has been serving as the Executive Director since 2019.
