Situated on the shores of Clear Lake in the county seat of Lakeport, the Carnegie Library is an ideal venue for CLERC to share information with community members and conduct research that advance our vision of ecological and economic benefit for Lake County. The building is owned by the City of Lakeport, and the CLERC water quality lab already occupies the first floor of the building. CLERC aims to expand the lab space, establish important research specimen storage on the first floor, and develop a long-term plan for a visitor center and environmental education program on the second floor.
