Brent Kallander joined CLERC in October of 2024 in the Forester position.  He graduated from the University of Montana, School of Forestry, with a BS in Forest Management.  Brent has over 30 years of land management experience, working on forestry projects in 7 western states.  Brent's forestry experience and knowledge span timber harvest layout, forest road/logging system engineering, planting site preparation, fuel hazard reduction, pre-commercial tree thinning, tree planting, forest pathology, and entomology.  Brent's excited about bringing his knowledge and experience to benefit the Lake County community.   Brent enjoys hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and watching all sports when not working.
