Briana Halstead became a member of the CLERC family in March 2022, joining as a Biologist. Originally hailing from Minnesota, she has now called Lake County, CA, home for nearly a decade. Briana's journey from Minnesota led her to explore and engage with nature and the outdoors in various states, including Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada. During her travels, she worked for federal agencies in these diverse locations.

Briana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, awarded in 2005. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Natural Resource Stewardship and Planning from the University of Colorado in 2018. Throughout her career, she has held positions in different parts of the United States, working for prominent agencies such as the National Park Service, US Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management.
